Fall in Florida #OOTD feat. Cori Coren Boutique

It's October, Summer is out of here and it's official time for candy apples, pale skin, and matching boots & scarf sets. Well, for y'all that is. Here in Tampa, FL, October doesn't mean we get a break from the extreme heat everyone else anticipates by March of every year. Here in Tampa, FL we have Summers so scorching that you can't even elevate your eyelids all the way when stepping outside ... followed by a slightly less hot version of that (Fall), a chilly version (Winter), and a rainy version (Spring). Yet, we still are excited to shop for the changing seasons just like everyone else who actually experience snow on Christmas (while we're down here rocking red sundresses and sandals). I personally have 3 trenchcoats & 3 leather jackets somewhere in the depths of my closet that sit back there waiting for their moment to shine. I have boots and scarves and tights ... just in case. But generally, we don't get to dive into the greatness of Fall fashion down here.

I was excited to walk outside and feel the 62 degree breeze hit me this morning, Here in Tampa, anything below 70 is probable cause for pulling out the "keep me warm" gear. If I were to ride through the town, i'd see boots and bomber jackets everywhere, without a doubt. But, in reality, it's only cool, not cold. My ideal ensemble for this transitional weather is a ethnic printed, earth-toned, knit midi. Cori Coren Boutique  has us covered! The quarter sleeve is perfect, (in.case Mother Nature decides she is just kidding and it jumps in the 80's by noon), you'll be able to adjust the sleeve accordingly. The material of the dress is just thick enough to not neat a cardigan. sweater atop.

I paired my Sheba Midi dress with some burgundy, velvet, chunky heeled pumps (that I only wear this time of the year) and a matching stone necklace. My favorite part of Fall is that my makeup doesn't slide off my face so easily when stepping outside (due to extreme heat). I am wearing the color #5033 from  Black Radiance's line of very affordable lipstick. I love a dark, sultry lip and this is nearly perfect (without liner/ primer), especially for $4! #StyleDeal
