.: #TheColorMix - In the NUDE

Recently, fellow curvy blogger @Ciaa, introduced us to her own sort of colorblock files titled, #TheColorMix. These frequent episodes showcase the building of an ensemble based solely on the combination of two or three colors and/ or prints. She claims to get dressed generally based around color and hopes that #TheColorMix will take some of the stress off getting dressed and encourage fellow curvy girls to take more risks/ “go wild”. I was inspired myself to take part in #TheColorMix project and created four simple, yet trendy & fashionable ensembles based around my own arrangement of nude, leopard, and red. Red has ALWAYS been the show-stopping, attention-grabbing, sexy defined, color of choice. Nuetrals and nudes have been trending for a while now, especially since Hollywood names (like Kim Kardashian) starting making them a frequent part of their wardrobe and signature style. Nude can be tricky, though. You’ll first need to find the right shade that will adapt to your skin tone. The point of nude garments/ makeup is to blend with your natural complexion. With that being said, a nude-like bodycon garment is designed to make you look bare. Which means it BARES all. While wearing such pieces, proper undergarments are required. Try to sculpt any extra bulges so you’ll appear clean and immaculate. The base of this lookbook is the Sun-Kissed crop top & midi skirt set from my partner, Rebdolls, is an ideal getup for the full-figured young woman. It is conservative (lengthy skirt, hidden bust) yet sassy (peeking stomach, figure hugging) enough to direct all the eyes to you.
