Keep it Quirvii

Qurvii, a plus-sized apparel line created to encourage women to “celebrate their curves”, believes that the foundation of fashion is attitude, and that size isn’t a factor when it comes to a woman’s unique beauty and confidence.

Qurvii was created for the everyday full-figured woman seeking elegant, trendy, yet affordable clothes in plus sizes. With a goal of making shopping an exciting experience, Qurvii offers curvy women chic options (like silk tunics, chiffon dresses, georgette, linen, and satin tops) that are normally unavailable in extended sizes. The line is offered in sizes 1X-4X.

I was sent the Net Hem dress from Qurvii, which is being offered in classic black, crisp white, or sultry red.  I assumed the line ran large (like other plus lines such as Ashley Stewart) and opted for a 1X. The material of this garment has lining and does not stretch, to ensure an oversized look, get your standard size.  My garment was not roomy, but was just as darling. My outfit concept went from “flowy and cozy” to “sassy and secure” with a simple flick of the wrist. I LOVE a quick DIY project! I simply took in the sides at the bottommost section of the garment and was done.

 

  

Sexy coverups are currently FLOURISHING! If you’re not ready or comfortable rocking  a swimsuit, this piece (or any piece with mesh inserts) would be an ideal look for a poolside social or an evening on the beach.  Mesh could be considered racy or inappropriate in a day-to-day setting, but is the perfect combination of sexy and majestic in regards to swimwear.
