Today I got out of the house and went to the beach, a lot has been on my mind (some things that matter quite a bit and some minor things that should not matter at all). I digress, the sight of nature and all the other full-figured women in their suits lifted my spirit for the time being. I saw about 5 other big women shamelessly rocking swimwear and it was definitely exhilarating. It's a new day.
I avoided the hype surrounded by the desire to have a brand name, overpriced, designed for "us" swimsuit ... and purchased my fatkini from Forever 21 for < $30. I reside in FL, where weather allows me to go to the beach daily, yet I only end up there twice/ year. A $200 swimsuit is definitely not on my must-have list. The more expensive, the better the quality and support (allegedly). But I'm not sure. Doesn't seem like ANY swimsuit i've spotted on plus girls manages to impeccably hold up heavy racks like mine. I wear a bandeau underneath my tops for additional support. I purchased my entire ensemble for less than $200. Less than $100 actually. #CTRFStyleDeal
