Black Garments Matter, Too (feat. Courtney Noelle)

The result of being overwhelmed by the burden of shopping while plump was the birth of Courtney Noelle. The everlasting search for attire that spoke to the designer's preference, was fashionable/ on trend, well made, and ACTUALLY FIT was practically a a fairy tale. When settling for homely designs  and other lackluster apparel (from one of the two stores that had options available for curvy girls) was no longer an option, Courtney knew it was her time to make "chic" and "high-fashion" accessible to the full-figured woman.

"I am not designing for the faint of heart, or for the wall flower. I am designing for the woman who does not mind standing out in a crowd ... or can’t wait to. She is funny, quick-witted, and brilliant. She doesn’t mind the stares and the 'who does she think she is?' commentary, because she will let them know exactly who she is", the confident designer explained.

Courtney Noelle’s goal is to put the beauty and power of women in the spotlight through her apparel. "We believe that women are beautiful exactly the way they are. Our garments are designed to enhance a woman’s inner beauty and strength."

The high-fashion / high-quality looks of Courtney Noelle sizes are available in sizes small (size two) to 3X (size twenty-four). The brand's sassy tagline - “Death to The Mumu” - is a call to be unconditionally in love with yourself, be bold in your decisions, show off the allure of your curves, step into your life and ultimately be yourself.

As I so frequently stress, you cannot have too many little black dresses. I personally need one designated for any and every type of event/ circumstance. This season, Courtney Noelle's "Blacker
the Berry" collection is upgrading the typical all black ensemble and offering other festive garments that will guarantee to make you the talk of the office Christmas party. You better show (the hell) out.

Charisma x The Nicole Dress
I scooped up two pieces of my own, and this dress in particular was my fave. If we have history together, you know I STRUGGLE with skater anything (poorly made, butt hangs out). Nicole, constructed from scuba/ neoprene, was heavy duty and didn't move.

Charisma x The Coco Dress
Look closely and notice tat this black beauty also allows your skin to peek-a-boo through the design. Not your granny's typical velvet dress, by far!
