Five Reasons Forever 21 is my Favorite Spot

1) Variety 

I can get a club dress, a formal/ church dress, a casual outfit, a skater skirt, a pencil skirt. a bodycon skirt, a beach outfit, a swimsuit, some sunglasses, matching jewelry, simple shoes, staple pieces, trending pieces, and makeup basics ... from one place.

2) Price 

I can get all of that merchandise mentioned, for less than $200. Other plus-size retail competitors sell single items for that price. The average young woman my age, (i'm 23), can NOT afford to splurge like that. As the seasons change and we feel the need to shop for a few wardrobe essentials, $200 is all we have to spare sometimes! At Forever 21, you'll be alright with that amount. While dressing I like to take simple items and make them my own. It doesn't have to cost me $90 for me to make it look high-priced. Labels have never been my thing anyway. I'm more of a "quantity" type of girl. 

3) Sales

There's always an offer! Buy one, get one half off. Buy one, get one free. Jewelry Sale. Swimsuit Sale. Free Shipping on orders $50+ (always). Free Shipping No Minimum is my personal favorite. I love that they are always looking out for their customers, because free shipping once you spend $150 is just plain ridiculous.

4) Trends Made Easy 

 Trendy items should never wipe out your wallet, especially if you actually follow fashion rules (not me), it won't even be "in" next season and you'll only get to wear it a few times. Forever 21 always has a variety  of everything trending right in arm's reach/ at the click of a mouse. This is great for someone who doesn't know where to start/ what to purchase while shopping. I can fit some of the regular sized tops so there are even more options, but for those who cannot, I would say that Forever 21 needs to make the plus and the regular size promotions/ collection/ options at least SOMEWHAT equal. Regular sizes has a lot more to offer. ESPECIALLY in stores. The plus-size section is a mere corner. 

5) Fresh 

My last reason Forever 21 is my favorite spot is because everything is fresh and appropriate for the average young adult. Other store specializing in plus retail sometimes offer garments that conceal us, make us look older, and are frumpy. These items cost triple the price of F21's super cute collection. 

CONS:

1) EVERYONE ELSE may just have what you're wearing. That's not necessarily a problem for me because I have my own style/ appearance and that just doesn't matter. 

2) The cheaper items are not always the best quality. For example, the black/ white, polka dot peplum dress stretched out at the breasts and attracted lent. But, it was $15. What was expected? I don't wear my clothing a lot, so this is not an issue for me either. 

3) Most of the merchandise is in regular sizes/ sometimes not offered in plus. 

4) Tricky sizing while shopping online. I wear a 1X in tops and (stretch) dresses. A 2X if I don't want a fitted look (harem pants, non-stretch dresses), and an 18 in jeans. It  DEFINITELY varies though. Fortunately, you can return at your local Forever 21.
