#OOTD: Prints & Neon

#OOTD: Prints & Neon

Today, I really wanted to wear my complimentary spiked, edgy necklace sent from Divas in Motion Jewelry & Accessories and my sky high pumps, so I went through my closet and put together this stand-out ensemble. I love the necklace! An all black statement piece is the only color I was missing from my collection, and with spikes, studs, and chains ... this over-the-top neck candy is so perfect.
The Spikey Spicey Necklace/ Earring Set is still available for purchase!

The lime kicks come from Go Jane, they sent me a promo code for 40% off and I used it buy something i'd been searching for for a while: LOUD, platform pumps. While they are comfortable, they are about 9.5 inches high (platform 3 inches + heel 6.5) and even being a platform pump maven, I wouldn't recommend wearing them for long periods of time. I love them, they're super fashionable, but I would have appreciated them more minus an inch or so of platform. I wear a 9 and the fit was perfect, they also come with a strap around the ankle. With the exclusive promo code, I paid $19.05 for these beauties.
Purchase your High-and-Mighty Ankle Strap Platforms for $31.75 at www.gojane.com

The lime, chiffon tank (sz.14) came from Eloquii, before they closed and reopened. The original price was an absurd $40, there is nothing too special about it. For the closing sale, it was $4.80 ... the price it's worth.

The ASOS Curve dotted peg pants are one of those pieces that all the "big girls" have in their closet; they were $36 and some change and the original fit was HORRIBLE. I purchased a 16 and they were so huge they fell right off. I got 6 inches taken off the waistline, now I like them. They are no longer available at ASOS, however, Forever 21+ has a very similar pair for less than $20.

The Floral Blazer is from Ross. It is a size XL and was found in the Juniors section for just $14. My mom picked it up for me during one of her mid-day retail lurking sessions. DO NOT sleep on the greatness of Ross. I get all my statement pieces from the trendy, popular stores ... then go to Ross and pick up my basics for half the price. It has to be one of my favorite local spots.
