Of course, it's still freaking 84 degrees here in Tampa ... so we're still experiencing Summer temperatures to say the least. Absolutely NO NEED for a switch in wardrobe as of yet. I haven't even been in the mood to actually get dressed because i'm ready for the fashion of the cooler seasons. When nature decides to throw some breeze and shade (#NoPunIntended) this way, I plan to partake in a few, fresh styles. These particular additions are budget friendly, season appropriate, they match my particular look, and MOST importantly, they're ideal for 65 degree weather (what we consider a cool day down here is Flawwwda!)

Lightweight Outerwear
I wore chiffon & lace kimonos all throughout the summer/ spring, now it's time for wool ponchos & knit dusters! The two ponchos above can be found at Macy's (on sale November 18-19) but this style can be found in a variety of other places (including your granny's closet, the local flea market/ thrift store #TrueStory). Even more than the comfort, I enjoy the ease of free-flowing outerwear.

Dainty Sheer Tights
On those (not so cool) days where I still want to be cute & feminine, patterned tights will be my go-to. Take your sexy, solid colored bodycon dresses into the cooler weather in a snap. Cover bare legs with tights, and pair with neutral colored (minimal) jewelry/ makeup & a loose bun. Quick, effortless. You can grab all of these from Lane Bryant, <$20.
A Classic Hat
I have BEEF with hats, Like, it's certainly a love-hate type of relationship. I want the option of a stylish head topper for days when my hair is is uncooperative/ unruly. I like the overall look of large hats, in general. But. My head is big and it's never a comfortable experience for me. Help?
You can find these hats at Forever 21.
The Fur (Vest)
I love the fancy feel of fur within an ensemble. It totally takes your dress or even jeans to the next level. But, the sun is still out! My solution will be rocking a fur vest as opposed to a full fur coat (NEVER in Tampa). Pair with a long sleeve shirt & look Fall ready without sweating bullets.
Nice Booties
Booties are going to be my boot substitute. Besides the obvious (it being too damn hot for knee-high boots), booties are my Fall/ winter shoe of choice because they're hassle-free. I have a hard time finding actual boots that fit around my big ol' legs and have found myself rigging them to work. Uncomfort defined! Booties give the same "look" but cut off around the ankle. These particular booties from Go Jane have features - open toe, slingback, netting - that are Florida Fall friendly/ allow some air circulation in (reducing that miserable foot sweat you get wearing boots).
What trends are you/ do you plan to try while it's cool out?
Any of these? (#TagMe!)
