A Little Bit of Denim feat. Fashion to Figure

Double Denim

Denim on denim has been thriving for quite some time, yet, I'd never dipped my own toes into the trend. Seems easy enough right? Two denim pieces. The gaudy girl in me had a hard time grasping the concept that it was just ... two denim pieces. Pop of print. Pop of color. Done. I could definitely get used to wearing more what I usually avoid (denim), so long as the FTF is by my side when it's time to find some jeans that properly fit all this bawdy.

A Pop of Denim

A slightly cropped denim jacket is the perfect layering garment for a super cute, casual OOTD. Of course, denim is neutral, so I like to use mine to break up the chunking of similar colors and patterns within my outfit. These skinny fit, brightly colored trousers (available in black, too) also come from FTF's; so perfect for a color pop, so versatile, and so comfortable!

Dainty Denim

For this look, I stayed in touch with my signature, flirty, feminine style while rocking denim, as opposed to an otherwise neutral colored blouse. I love the stand out sharpness and the contrast when you throw in that lil' denim, against other distinct colors and patterns. It also keeps otherwise "dressy" garments (like a scuba circle midi skirt) casual and effortless.

The Boyfriend's Denim

The hunt is over. I've finally found a pair of "boyfriend jeans" that actually fit as they're supposed to, and are affordable. FTF's BF denims go up to a size 24 and are pretty much true to size, but I went up one size for a more relaxed look. I went nonchalant and "masculine" for my overall look and paired a white, cuffed button-up, and FTF's Panama Hat (available in 3 colors). Entirely effortless and casual.

On Call Denim

My last denim OOTD consists of Fashion to Figure's Jenkins Bodycon dress and their Destructed Denim Jacket on standby. I'd consider a striped dress to be a wardrobe staple in the closet of any fat-shion forward woman who's not intimidated by print. This dress is a modest length and can be dressed up (blazer, heels/ pumps/ wedge) or down to fit your occasion. When I wore mine, I was simply going to the movies, so I wore Vans, my "i'm not wearing makeup today" glasses, and my fave, authentic leather crossbody from Mexico. The outerwear tied to the waist is kind of trendy presently, but my FTF denim jacket is actually on standby (i'll need it in the theater).
